Stages of registering a business within ABI

Registering a business within ABI requires an initial idea for the business venture one plans to operate. The idea itself is left to the applicant's discretion, as long as it reflects their current possibilities of obtaining a legal profit.

The next stage of registering one's business within Academic Business Incubators consists of filling in an application form titled "Beneficiary information card", which can be downloaded from the main page of our web-portal www.inkubatory.pl.

OThe completed form should include such basic information as personal data, the name of the business, short description of the business, description of the product, one's market analysis and business vision. The applicant should also select a particular Incubator within which their company will operate. If the form is completed properly, it will be submitted to the Director of the chosen Incubator.

The Director of the chosen Incubator will invite the applicant to an orientation meeting held on the premises of the particular Incubator. During the orientation meeting the applicant will be given the opportunity to present their business idea, discuss the strengths and weakness of their plan and obtain comprehensive information pertaining to operating one's business within the structures of ABI.

After the orientation meeting with the applicant interested in registering their business with ABI, the ABI Director will consult with the ABI Advisory Board and decide whether to qualify the applicant for the "Preincubation" programme.

The Director of the chosen Incubator will inform the applicant about their positive evaluation. The next stage consists of both parties meeting on the ABI premises and signing an agreement pertaining to support provided in the course of the Preincubation Programme. Signing the agreement completes the application process. After signing the agreement and acquitting a net total of 200 PLN to ABI, the applicant becomes a full-fledged beneficiary of our Foundation.

Having signed the agreement, the next stage is undergoing training on the principles of operation within ABI. The training will introduce the Beneficiary to, among others, accounting, the banking system, the invoice system and other crucial issues pertaining to business operation within ABI. After said training the Beneficiary will receive all login and password data to accounts and systems required in the operation of a business within ABI.
